Position Overview

The Quality Production Manager (QPM) is a hands-on, field-first leader responsible for daily execution, crew readiness, quality control, and client experience. This role sets the tone each morning, ensures crews are equipped for success, and resolves issues in real time. The QPM lives in the field and supports crews through presence, coaching, and action.


Key Responsibilities


Daily Operations & Crew Leadership
  • Lead Monday Morning Meetings focused on culture, motivation, education, and expectations
  • Conduct daily morning roll-outs ensuring all trucks leave on time and fully prepared
  • Assign equipment, issue perishables, address call-outs, and set daily priorities
  • Maintain high energy, accountability, and crew morale
Quality Control & Client Execution
  • Ensure all quality issues are corrected promptly by field crews
  • Handle client feedback, complaints, and damage reports through resolution
  • Execute site visits for assigned accounts and document findings
  • Own first-visit execution for new clients and gather initial feedback
Equipment & Shop Oversight
  • Ensure all equipment is operational, repaired, fueled, and ready
  • Coordinate with mechanic on repairs, parts, and preventative maintenance
  • Maintain shop and yard cleanliness standards
  • Complete weekly shop inventory and manage par levels
Administrative Execution
  • Review and validate timesheets using GPS data for payroll accuracy
  • Prepare daily clipboards (routes, checklists, call-outs, weather considerations)
  • Submit weekly expense reports on time
  • Perform monthly scepter applications for approved clients

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in landscape maintenance leadership or operations management.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, equipment, and scheduling systems.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to motivate, train, and lead diverse teams.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR.
  • Proficient with Computer Software and GPS/time management systems.
