Position Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and motivate a crew of maintenance workers performing lawn and landscape tasks
- Plan and organize daily work assignments to ensure timely completion of scheduled jobs
- Operate and oversee the use of mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other landscaping equipment
- Perform hands-on maintenance duties including cutting grass, weed-eating, pulling weeds, and detail cleanup
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and consistency across all sites
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and equipment condition
- Ensure that all crew members follow safety procedures and company policies
- Report equipment issues, supply needs, or site concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor
- Foster a professional and respectful work environment while setting a positive example for the team
Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance required
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of lawn care techniques, tools, and equipment operation
- Ability to plan, delegate, and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Physically able to perform outdoor labor in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license preferred
