Landscape Architect

Position Overview

WillowGrove is searching for a landscape architect or project designer that is looking to make the next step in their career. We are seeking a highly motivated individual that can step in and work closely with the Design Build team by taking projects from initial concept all the way through construction. The ideal candidate would have an entrepreneurial spirit and want to play their part in a rapidly growing business by being able to take on and manage their own projects with the assistance of the WillowGrove team.

Responsibilities

Leadership

• Lead by example by fostering a culture that promotes ethical practices, retains and motivates a diverse group of top-quality employees at all levels and encourages individual integrity while remaining customer focused and service driven.
• Manage projects through every step of the design phase from conceptual design to project closeout by taking ownership of the design and working closely with the client, design team and construction department.

Design

• Initial Consultation/Conceptual Design – work closely with clients from the initial consultation to develop their vision graphically by presenting conceptual master plans, perspectives, sections as needed
• Design Development- flush out designs from the initial site inventory through to construction documents as needed in autoCAD
  Estimating- Estimate projects in Landscape Management Network software
• Construction Observation and Closeout – Work closely with the construction team by monitoring jobs through the construction process and ensuring their design integrity and client satisfaction
